The

Identify
Simply

 Auxiliary Port Accessory Kit
The
Auxiliary Port Accessory was designed to expand your Advanced GT's ability
to interface with multiple devices including personal computers and the Celestron
CN-16 GPS.
The
Auxiliary Port Accessory has a PC port which allows the user to update motor
control firmware downloaded from the internet. It has two auxiliary ports,
one for the NexStar Hand Control and one for the CN-16 GPS Accessory. The
Auxiliary Port Accessory can also be used on the NexStar “i” series
telescopes for upgrading motor control firmware. This kit includes the Auxiliary
Port Accessory and Programming Cable (#93922).
Note:
The Auxiliary Port Accessory comes standard in the CN-16 GPS Accessory Kit
for the Advanced GT Series (#93966). The Programming Cable is NOT included
in the CN-16 GPS Accessory Kit for the Advanced GT Series.
 Cable, NexStar RS-232
Allows
your computerized telescopes to be controlled using a laptop computer or PC.
Once connected to your hand control port, the telescope can be controlled
using popular astronomy software programs. This cable connects to your PC’s
serial port.
Also
used to upgrade hand control software for flash upgradable hand controls.
For
use with a USB port, you must purchase a serial to USB converter (18775).

This
cable is used to convert a serial cable into a cable that is compatible with
standard USB ports.
Recommended
for use with our RS-232 cable (93920) and our Programming Cable (93922) which
both feature serial connectors.
 GPS Accessory Kit CN16 (NexStar i, Nexstar SE)
Improve
the accuracy of your initial star alignments by plugging in the GPS module
into your telescope’s drive base port. The CN-16 will link up and automatically
download the exact time, date longitude and latitude from one of many global
positioning satellites.
 GPS Accessory Kit CN16 (Advanced GT)
Improve
the accuracy of your initial star alignments by plugging in the GPS module
into your telescope. The CN-16 will link up and automatically download the
exact time, date longitude and latitude from one of many global positioning
satellites.
This
kit contains the CN 16 GPS Accessory, mounting bracket for the CN 16 GPS Accessory,
and Expansion Port Accessory to allow communication with the GPS Accesssory.
This
kit is designated for use with the Advanced GT computerized mounts.
 GPS Accessory Kit CN16 (CGE)

gamepad support is enabled, NexRemote uses the Logitech WingMan Cordless RumblePad
