With the NexStar’s ergonomically designed hand control, the user is free to remove the hand control from its holder for remote use or leave it cradled for hands-free operation. With a touch of a button you can select the object catalog, change the slew speed, view fascinating information about an object, or simply know if a desired object is visible in the sky.

This NexStar GT includes a version of The Sky® software Level 1 Planetarium software for exploring the Universe on your PC and printing out custom star charts of the sky. In addition, you receive the NexStar Observer’s List (NSOL) control software. Just connect your NexStar to your laptop or PC (with optional RS-232 cable) for click-and-slew ability to any object in the NexStar’s database.
