FRC-300
 |
The FRC-300 has a 300mm effective aperture of Ritchey-Chrétien design. It is the newest 300mm
RC made by Takahashi. The design incorporates a wide flat field producing an image circle of 90mm
making it ideal for photography up to medium format. It has a focal ratio of F/7.8 and a focal length
of 2348mm allowing imaging of small stellar objects such as planetaries with amazing details. Optical
performance is truly outstanding with stars images merely10 microns at the photographic edge. A
reducer allows the instrument to work at F/5.9 and focal length of 1770mm.
