The Takahashi FS-128 is a 5" apochromatic refractor telescope. The multi-coated diffraction-limited optics produce very bright, high contrast and sharp images minus any chromatic abberation.

The FS-128 makes an excellent telescope for planetary studies and photography. Its 5" aperture has plenty of light gathering power to view fine details on the albedo markings of the Mars, the filamentary cloud details on Jupiter, etc.

It also makes a good deep sky wide field astrophotography telescope when used with a focal reducer.
